Jeremiah de Rozario

Kerala’s own Jeremiah de Rozario is a singer/songwriter who finds steady ground in Indie Pop music with hints of Folk Rock. Jeremiah draws inspiration from life experiences and stories around him and the best way to describe his music would be by answering the question: “What if Ed Sheeran had a baby with the band -1975?”

Jeremiah started his journey as an indie musician in 2020 with his first single, “Run to the Ocean”, which received much public and critical acclaim and put him on the Indian Indie Music map. Since then, Jeremiah has released five singles namely – Mustard Yellow, Dear Us, Red Bird, Patience and Sunflower. Each of these songs have been featured on many a playlist and have been praised for their relatable writing and catchy arrangements.

“I genuinely believe in keeping things simple. The songs I create come from a very honest and raw place. I think that’s why most people relate to them and are moved by them. I hope to make more.”

Jeremiah has been the supporting act for major Indie artists like Tejas and When Chai Met Toast. A familiar face at all cultural events in Kerala, this Kochi boy has performed and headlined at shows such as Covelong Classic Surf, Music & Fitness Festival, The Bloomingreen Music Festival, Majuli Music Festival, Kochi OnFleak, All Things Bright, V12 Verve and Heart XP to name a few. He successfully did his debut tour “From the Ocean” in March, covering 4 cities across South India.

In addition, Jeremiah has had a very loyal social media following that continues to support and promote his work as a songwriter and storyteller. With over 1 Million streams on Spotify, Jeremiah boasts a monthly listener count of over 11,000 people in only the first year of his career. The singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel has about 1 Lakh of accumulated views with each of his tracks having unique videos that speak to the essence of each song.
